CFA CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Working with a wonderful team at CFA, and my sister Cat MacInnes's delightful illustrations, I designed the new brand identities and associated collateral for two fantastic children's programs: Truck Time and Fire Wise Kids.
Truck Time and Fire Wise Kids
Truck Time is a hands-on experience where children can see a fire truck, watch a fire hose demonstration and meet a firefighter in person.
Fire Wise Kids is CFA’s in classroom, fire safety education program for kinder and primary school students. It’s delivered by trained CFA volunteers who visit schools with engaging and interactive lessons.
BRAND IDENTITIES
The logo designs were based on the idea that pictures tell the story alongside the words. This is helpful and inclusive for all, especially for kids.
The oversized bold lettering and super bright colour palette took cues from the vernacular of safety signs, where the aim is to get the attention of the audience, signifying the importance of the information.
The designs are friendly, bold and playful. We wanted all of the pieces to be clear and engaging for both children and adults.
The logos and layouts have been designed to work in a variety of colour combinations; making for a fun, dynamic and fresh identity.
